Last Wednesday, May 8, the Biofisika Institute of Bizkaia hosted the IKUR-Neurobiosciences event where the results of the collaborative projects supported by IKUR in the period 2023-2024 were presented.
The event was divided into three parts, in the first one Iban Ubarretxena, the scientific coordinator of the area, presented the challenges and activities supported in the IKUR-Neurobiosciences field in the period 2023-2024, in the second one the progress of the projects supported in that period was presented by their leaders, and in the last one, a selection of key infrastructures and equipment whose access and use can be strategic for the community was presented.
In relation to the progress in TRLs and impact on the market and society that the IKUR Strategy aims to achieve, the case of the Nanoneuro project and the participation of the agents that form part of its research consortium in a Public Procurement of Innovative Technology (PPIT) initiative was presented. A Public Procurement initiative that, according the obtained budget, is the largest that has been developed so far at the state level.
